How it works

Understand CareerLens before you start.

A quick guide to the whole thing: how the assessment works, the six career types it measures, what your Career Code means, and how to read your results — so nothing on your report is a surprise.

The process

How the assessment works

Three simple steps from start to a personalised results dashboard.

Rate how much you agree with each statement on a 1–5 scale. First instinct wins — about 20 minutes.

2

We score 6 interest areas

Your answers are scored across six career-interest areas, each out of 50. No right or wrong answers.

3

Get your Career Code

Your top areas combine into a Career Code, with matched careers, strengths, and clear next steps.

The framework

Your report

Your result, explained

Most people aren't a single type. Your top areas combine into a Career Code (e.g. IAE), and the spread between them decides your result type below.

  • R

    Single Dominant

One interest clearly leads — a strong, focused direction.

  • RI

    Dual Dominant

Two strong interests to combine; the first letter leans strongest.

  • RIA

    Triple Dominant · Strong

Three clearly differentiated interests — multiple solid pathways.

  • RIA

    Triple Dominant · Moderate

Three balanced interests, moderately above the rest — stay flexible.

  • RIA

    Triple Dominant · Weak

Three broad interests, only slightly above the rest — explore before committing.

  • RIASCE

    Undifferentiated

Interests spread evenly — focus on exposure, not commitment yet.

  • RIASCE

    Flat Profile

Almost no variation — the very start of your discovery journey.

What does this mean for me?

Almost no one is a single type. Most people score highest on two or three categories — that combination is your career code (e.g. RIA, SEC, IAE). CareerLens turns your code into a career type — a clear, named pattern (Strong Triple Dominant, Dual Dominant, etc.) — and then maps it to specific Pakistani career paths, university programmes, and the subjects you should choose to get there.

CareerLens is built on a globally-validated career-interest model and refined against 50,000+ psychometric assessments across Pakistan. The same approach is used in school counselling, hiring, and academic research around the world.
